SINGAPORE, 9 December 2016 – mm2 Asia Ltd. (“mm2 Asia”, “mm2全亚影视娱乐有限公司” or collectively with its subsidiaries, the “Group”), wishes to announce that as part of the celebrations for its 2nd anniversary of listing on the Singapore Exchange (SGX), they would like to present each shareholder with a pair of tickets to two exclusive movie previews and a voucher worth S$38 for 2mm Talent Café (tentative name).

Mr Melvin Ang, CEO of mm2 Asia remarked, “To mark the second year of our listing on SGX, we wanted to express our appreciation to all our shareholders for their loyalty and support as we continue to build mm2 into a leading Asian powerhouse for entertainment

Upon the registration of interest on the mm2 mailing list, all shareholders will be entitled to one pair of preview tickets to both of mm2’s Lunar New Year movie releases, Take 2 《遇见贵人》 and The Fortune Handbook《财神爷》. The cast of the two movies will be making a special appearance at the respective preview screenings.

The highly anticipated Take 2 《遇见贵人》, is the directorial debut of Ivan Ho (夏友庆), co-writer of Ah Boys to Men 3: Frogmen 《新兵正传III:蛙人传》and Long Long Time Ago 《我们的故事》. Executive produced by Jack Neo, Take 2 stars Wang Lei (王雷), Ryan Lian (廖永谊), Maxi Lim (林俊良) and Gadrick Chin (陈俊权). This must-see comedy about second chances follows the rough journey of four ex-convicts trying to adjust to society.

The Fortune Handbook《财神爷》, directed by Kelvin Sng 孙立人, stars Li Nanxing (李南星), Christopher Lee (李铭顺), Mark Lee (李国煌) and Vivian Lai (赖怡伶). Watch the protagonist, Su Fu (played by Christopher Lee), as he chases after a secret recipe developed by his brother-in-law (Li Nanxing) and obsesses over the idea of becoming rich. In his exhilaration, an interning God of Fortune (Mark Lee) stumbles into his and his family’s lives and shakes things up with comedic results. This is the first time that these famous local male actors are acting in a movie together, making this one Lunar New Year comedy not to be left out.

In addition to the movie tickets, mm2 will also be giving out a free S$38 voucher to all registered shareholders, which can be redeemed at mm2’s latest business undertaking, the 2mm Talent Café. Besides food and drinks, this new café hopes to be a new hotspot for media and entertainment talents to gather, and to be the networking hub for industry practitioners. 2mm Talent Café is currently undergoing renovations and news on its opening will be released at a later date.
